This track is a piece of my story. “Dance of Freedom” reflects the journey of my child transitioning from childhood into adulthood. It’s a time full of decisions: Will they stay within the structure we as parents have provided, or will they find their own path – one filled with effort, frustration, but also freedom? As parents, we often find ourselves torn between two extremes: wanting to provide support, yet needing to let go. This very feeling is what I’ve poured into this track. Musically, the track is 80% instrumental, with driving psy-trance basslines, hypnotic synths, and atmospheric sound effects. The German vocals are minimal and symbolic: "You dance on the narrow path of time, Between yesterday and tomorrow, ready. For me, music production is a matter of patience. Sometimes I spend days developing, discarding and recreating sounds. It's a real challenge to capture the right mood and the perfect vibe. Honestly, with this track I ended up with up to 40 different outputs per 30 second step 😅 But that's the process - making the best decision for the sound that really excites me in the end. Goa Trance and the French language just feel naturally connected to me - no surprise, as many of my favorite artists in this genre are from France. The track is heavily inspired by 80s Synthwave vibes: nostalgic synthesizer melodies meet a relaxing, driving bassline. My goal was to create a timeless sound that feels both familiar and fresh—a sound that takes you to other worlds without losing touch with the here and now. What makes this song truly special is how it came to life: at the end of the production process, I gave the AI free rein. Using the soundscapes and ideas I had created, it was able to experiment and bring something completely new to the table.
